Pump-Out Tracking
Regular pump-outs are critical to FOG compliance. SmartComply tracks every pump-out event and validates it against the FSE's required schedule.
Recording a Pump-Out
- Navigate to an FSE's FOG tab or go to FOG → Pump-Outs.
- Click + Record Pump-Out.
- Enter:
- Date
- Hauler — Select from registered haulers
- Equipment Serviced — Which trap or interceptor
- Gallons Removed
- Grease Thickness Before — Inches of floating grease measured
- Disposal Facility
- Click Save.
Hauler Manifests
Haulers with portal access can submit manifests electronically. Each manifest includes the pickup details, volume, and disposal location. Manifests are automatically matched to the FSE's equipment record.
25% Rule Monitoring
SmartComply calculates grease accumulation as a percentage of total trap capacity. If the measurement exceeds 25%, the system flags the FSE and may trigger an increased pump-out frequency requirement.
Overdue Pump-Outs
If a scheduled pump-out is missed, the FSE's status changes to "Overdue" and automated notices can be sent to the FSE contact.
