FOG Inspections
Regular inspections verify that FSEs are maintaining their grease control equipment properly.
Starting an Inspection
- Navigate to FOG → Inspections.
- Click + New Inspection.
- Select the FSE and equipment to inspect.
- Complete the inspection form:
- General Condition — Good, Fair, Poor
- Grease Level — Measured inches of floating grease
- Solids Level — Measured inches of settled solids
- Equipment Integrity — Baffles intact, lid secure, no leaks
- Best Management Practices — Dry wiping, scraping, grease container present
- Photos — Upload inspection photos
- Inspector Notes
- Set the overall result: Pass, Minor Deficiency, or Fail.
- Click Submit.
Follow-Up Actions
Failed inspections automatically create follow-up tasks. The system can generate a notice to the FSE with required corrective actions and a re-inspection date.
