Assembly Inventory

The Assembly Inventory is the core of the Backflow module. Each assembly record represents a physical backflow prevention device installed at a facility.

Adding an Assembly

  1. Navigate to a facility's Backflow tab or go to Backflow → Assemblies.
  2. Click + Add Assembly.
  3. Fill in the required fields:
    • Serial Number
    • Assembly Type — RPBA, DCVA, PVB, RPDA, DCDA, AVB, etc.
    • Size — Pipe diameter in inches
    • Manufacturer and Model
    • Installation Date
    • Hazard Level — High or Low
    • Service Type — Domestic, Fire, Irrigation, etc.
  4. Click Save.

Assembly Status

Each assembly has a compliance status calculated by the rules engine:

  • Compliant — Passed its most recent annual test within the required period.
  • Due — Annual test is coming up within the next 30 days.
  • Overdue — Annual test has not been completed by the deadline.
  • Failed — Most recent test was a failure and no passing retest has been recorded.

Filtering & Sorting

Use the filter bar to narrow assemblies by status, type, size, hazard level, or facility. Click column headers to sort. Export the filtered list to CSV at any time.
