Anomaly Detection

SmartComply's AI continuously monitors incoming data for anomalies that may indicate data quality issues or fraud.

What's Detected

  • Duplicate submissions — Identical results submitted for the same assembly on the same date.
  • Outlier values — Gauge readings or sample results far outside the expected range.
  • Pattern anomalies — Suspiciously uniform results from the same tester (e.g., identical readings on every test).
  • Timing anomalies — Tests submitted faster than physically possible (e.g., 50 tests in an hour).

Alerts

Flagged anomalies appear in your notification queue and on the relevant record with an orange warning badge. You can review each flag and mark it as "Reviewed — OK" or "Requires Action."
